The City of Alcoa Public Works and Engineering Department announced today the one-lane closures of a portion of Hall Road by Stansell Electric Company, contractor with the City of Alcoa and City of Maryville for various traffic signal and intersection improvements, will continue through the week of December 6. Closures of the right, northbound lane of Hall Road between Franklin Street and Associates Boulevard will occur between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily as the contractor continues installation of conduit and fiber optic cable interconnecting the two cities’ traffic signals. The work will be postponed in the event of inclement weather.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution during this work and to seek alternative routes when practical.
