The closure is necessary to allow the Rogers Group, the TDOT contractor for the diverging diamond interchange, to complete the paving work for their project. Eastbound traffic will be restored by 6:00 a.m., Monday, November 22. The full interchange is scheduled for full operation later in the month (barring any weather delays or other problems).

Motorists are urged to exercise caution during this work, to carefully follow the posted detour routes, and to seek alternative routes when practical.
