The City of Alcoa Public Works and Engineering Department announced today that beginning Tuesday, December 7, 2010, City crews will begin work on the proposed Culton Creek Greenway Trail from North Linden Drive to Andover Boulevard. The trail construction will continue over next several months. Motorist should expect shoulder work and temporary lane closures with short detours Tuesday through Fridays.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution during this work and to seek alternative routes when practical.
