The City of Alcoa Public Works and Engineering Department announced today that due to the recent inclement weather, the sewer line replacement work on Lindsey Street previously scheduled for January 11 - 12, 2011 has been rescheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, January 18 and19, 2010. Lindsay Street will be closed at the intersection of Lindsay and Calderwood on Tuesday, January 18 and Wednesday, January 19. Lindsay Street will be open to local traffic from the east end up to Hardee’s and Unique Cleaners. Motorists are advised to use caution in this area.
