The City of Alcoa will make no adjustments to the collection of residential solid waste or brush for the 4th of July holiday week. Residential and commercial routes will be run on schedule.

Recycling collection normally scheduled for Wednesday, July 6 will be collected on Thursday, July 7. Recycling collection normally scheduled for Friday, July 8 will be collected on Saturday, July 9.

The Alcoa / Maryville / Blount County Landfill will be closed for the 4th of July holiday, with regular operating hours of 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. the remainder of the week. Please call 995-2892 or 995-2998 for questions concerning the Landfill operations.
