The City of Alcoa announced today that the northbound left-turn lane of Hall Road onto West Bessemer Street will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. The closure is necessary for the replacement of a storm sewer frame and grate.

Motorists traveling north on Hall Road may access West Bessemer Street by turning left onto Davies Street just south of the old Alcoa Municipal Building. Motorists on Hall Road and Bessemer Street should exercise caution in the area of this work and may want to seek alternative routes when practical.

Work will be rescheduled in case of inclement weather.
