The RecycleBank program allows homeowners to earn up to $20 worth of credits a month based on the amount of recycling they do. The customer’s account builds points that can be redeemed for discounts / gift cards from area merchants.

07/30/2010    Road Work Scheduled in Alcoa

The City of Alcoa Public Works and Engineering Department announced today that resurfacing through American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds is scheduled to begin next week for both the Singleton Station Road and Calderwood Street areas of the City.

A Knoxville man, Daniel L. Akers, 32, Idlewood Lane, was involved in a single-car accident on Pellissippi Parkway at approximately 2 p.m. Wednesday morning.
